Asus ROG phones have an awesome reputation as some of the world's best gaming phones. That's no surprise when you consider the world-class hardware that has always been packed into them. Now as we all look ahead to the release of Asus ROG Phone 3 on the 22nd of July, we wait to see what they've done to take this extraordinary gaming device to an even higher level.
Early rumours are promising and have caused a fair stir among the gaming community. Asus ROG Phone 3 will run Android 10 out of the box. It will boast a 5G-enabled Snapdragon 865, and up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. This combination suggests that gaming performance, let alone overall operation, will be better than ever
A sneak peek at the back of the device by industry insiders saw a longer camera array, which makes clear that there'll be space for three sensors instead of two. All round, the handset will be a little heavier and bigger than ROG Phone 2. Power and volume controls will still be on the right side. However, with a 6.59-inch 1080p AMOLED display that seems to indicate this won't be a virtual bezel-free device.
Interestingly, one of the biggest rumours to date is the exclusion of the headphone jack. This seems to follow the trend set by an increasing number of manufacturers. But what gamers will be really interested in is how this beloved gaming phone performs when it's time to have some fun. We'll know for sure in a few short days when the Asus ROG Phone III is released. You can follow the launch event using this link: https://www.asus.com/event/rog-phone-3/
