The Galaxy A40 and A20e are Samsung's latest releases for consumers wanting affordable smartphones. They share the same value for money, and certainly resemble each other at first glance, while they also share the waterdrop notch feature. For all that, there are differences between the two!

Samsung Galaxy A40

The Samsung Galaxy A40 boasts a 5.9-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution. The rear dual-camera setup comprises of 16 MP + 5 MP cameras. There's a surprisingly large 25-megapixel camera on the front, which promises very detailed selfies! The octa-core processor combines with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory for an excellent performance. The internal memory and this can be expanded up to 512 GB. The 3,100 mAh battery in the A40 is larger than in the Galaxy A20e, and comes with fast charging 15 W.

Samsung Galaxy A20e

The Galaxy A20e has an impressive 5.8-inch Infinity LCD display. The HD+ resolution is the same as the regular A20, as are the 13+5 MP rear and 8-megapixel front-facing cameras. Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, the high-performance Exynos processor with eight cores, 3 GB RAM, and 32 GB storage, which is upgraded to 512 GB via microSD. The battery is 3,000 mAh with fast charging in support. Other features include Android 9.0 Pie, LTE support, FM radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. When you see all those features together, you see what good value the A20e really is, and that's another thing it certainly has in common with the A40.
