The hotly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 has been causing plenty of industry buzz and some key features have generated just as much talk. Here's what we know right now.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 will come in two sizes: 41 mm and 45 mm. Display sizes clock in at 1.2 and 1.4 inches. The overall feel and look are said to be lighter and less bulky than previous Galaxy watches. This is welcome news when you're wearing the device pretty much 24/7. We've also heard the Watch 3 will reinstate the popular rotating bezel for navigation, and the 340 mAh battery should be able to deliver a full two days of battery life.
Samsung's new watch will come with 1 GB of RAM and Tizen OS 5.5. That suggests that Galaxy Watch 3 is going to bring us a whole lot of high-performance features. At this stage, it is thought that Watch 3 will probably have similar health and fitness specs to the Galaxy Watch Active 2. The new model will also have, if rumours are correct, an optical heart rate sensor, built-in GPS, blood pressure monitoring, and even an electrocardiogram (ECG).
Don't get too excited about the ECG feature just yet! It might not even make it to the Galaxy Watch 3 as Samsung only recently received approval to use ECG on the Active 2 in Korea. Hence, it's doubtful whether the ECG unit will be ready when Galaxy Watch 3 launches in July. That fascinating news alone will create even more buzz about this latest watch from Samsung!
Sam Mobile recently reported that support pages have appeared on Samsung's Indian site. These pages contain information about the SM-R845F and SM-R850 models.
