Xiaomi has a golden opportunity to capitalise on Huawei’s trading vows. Beijing based Xiaomi designs and manufactures affordable phones that contain a lot of premium features. The recently released Xiaomi Mi Note 10 challenges some of Huawei’s flagship phone like the P30 model.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is a 6.47-inch screen phone. The screen is of AMOLED-type and sports full-HD resolution. It comes with 128 GB built-in storage. Unfortunately, it lacks an external memory card slot.
Battery
The Xiaomi Note 10 phone feels quite bulky due to an enormous 5,260 mAh battery, which requires a thickness of 9.67 mm. Many consumers will perceive the phone as being rather heavy with a weight of 208 gram. The box contains a 30W charger, which means fast charging despite the large battery. As a result, a third of the battery is charged in less than 20 minutes.
Camera
Xiaomi has really set its eyes on Huawei. It, therefore, pays a lot of attention to the camera, an area where Huawei is strong due to its partnership with the camera manufacturer Leica.
There are five rear cameras. The main sensor features 108 MP resolution. Xiaomi has also increased the size of the sensor to 1/1.33 inch, which ensures that it can leverage its super-high resolution. Normally four pixels are employed to display one pixel. Hence, the effective resolution is 27 MP. The wide-angle camera is less impressive although it supports auto-focus. Furthermore, there are two zoom camera: one with a 2x zoom and the other one with a 5x zoom.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pricing
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 retails at $990 inclusive of GST. This is almost 50% cheaper than the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. Thus, this phone is a good deal for consumers looking for excellent camera features and don't mind the bulkiness of this phone.
There are three colours to choose from: aurora green, glacier white and midnight black.
